Biodiversity This page outlines the Biodiversity Theme which is funded under the Lough Neagh Strategic Fund. Aim The Biodiversity Theme aims to protect, manage and, where possible, enhance and restore important biodiversity features in the Lough Neagh Wetlands. Project Types B 1.1 - Events and material on biodiversity in the Wetlands We would like to fund a number of strategic projects dealing with the production of educational and interpretational materials and hold a number of events to raise awareness of the importance of maintaining biodiversity in the Wetlands. BSP Measure number to put on Application Form A: Measure 4.11.
B 1.2 - Restoration of Wetland habitats We would like to fund a number of strategic projects dealing with the creation, enhancement and management of characteristic Lough Neagh wetland habitats, including wet meadow, wet woodlands and bogs. Especially welcome are projects that involve partnership between landowners, businesses, the local community and the statutory sector. BSP Measure number to put on Application Form A: Measure 4.11.
